This dialog gives access to parameters which effect the interaction with X-Plane.
|Fog Ratio||X-Plane monitors the frame rate (FPS). When it is too low the fog is approaches. When FPS is high the fog retreats. This parameter limits the approach of the fog. This is necessary since FSImp sometimes intentionally grabs a lot of computation time to load models and bitmap images as fast as possible. A value of 1 means the fog should stay far away. Note that a little fog flicker may be noticed.||0||1.1||0.9|
|Slow speed kts||Below this speed FSImp assmues that you are taxiing. VRAM load rate is not applied which quickens bitmap loading but may produce small stutters.||50|
|Ground interact||When FSImp draws surfaces it can tell X-Plane what type of surface it is. This allows you to take-off, land or taxi on
solid surfaces on the ground or on flat 3D surfaces. This function is only available since X-Plane v740.
|Local Y Offset m||The distance from the ground to the aircraft reference position. This value is used when overriding the ground surface position after loading a tile or after being reloacted by the use of the X-Plane menus. If on relocation, your aircraft shoots into the air or drops to the ground change this. Use values of about 1 for light aircraft, 2 for twin props and 5 for heavies.||0||10||1.5|
|Speed Override Y||When FSImp overrides the ground surface position it may have to adjust the altitude of the aircraft as it may be above or below the new surface position. You can specify the repositioning speed, in meters per seconds.||0||5||1.5|
